June 10, 2026Chris Giles joins Clares house board

We’re excited to share that Chris Giles, Consumer Banking Officer, has joined the Board of Directors for Clare’s House, a local nonprofit making a real difference for pets and the people who love them!

Clare’s House steps in when dog owners face short-term challenges such as illness or injury. Through temporary fostering, Golden Leash services, and the Clare’s House Cares Fund, they make sure dogs are safe and cared for while their owners focus on getting back on their feet.

Chris’s connection to Clare’s House isn’t new. He’s been involved for years, volunteering and fostering dogs along the way. In one case, that experience came full circle. After the dog’s owner passed away, Chris welcomed his foster into his own family. It’s a story that says a lot about who he is and why this mission matters so much to him.

In this new role, Chris will help spread the word and support fundraising efforts to grow Clare’s House’s reach across the community. At CNB, Chris brings more than 30 years of experience in consumer finance and loan origination. He’s known for keeping things clear, honest, and personal. No cookie-cutter solutions. Just real conversations and guidance that help people move forward with confidence. That same approach shows up in how he gives back.

Chris truly cares about people, and it shows in everything he does. He has a natural way of making others feel supported and understood, and that extends well beyond the bank. We’re proud to see him continue giving back to a cause that means so much to him and our community,” commented Tim Rodden, CEO and President.

Please join us in congratulating Chris on this well-deserved appointment and the continued contributions he will make to Clares House!
