CNB St. Louis Bank is proud to welcome Kurt Barks to our St. Charles Community Board. As a lifelong resident of the St. Charles area and a dynamic business leader, Kurt brings a wealth of experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and community dedication to the board.
Kurt is the founder and CEO of Complete Auto Body & Repair, a business he began working in at just 17 years old. Over the years, he has grown the company into a multi-location operation that includes auto repair, body work, and towing services across Missouri and beyond. His leadership has also led to the creation of Cardinal Legacy Towing Group, a family of towing companies serving communities from St. Louis to Kansas City and even Naples, Florida.
Beyond his business success, Kurt is deeply committed to giving back. Through his annual charity golf tournament, he has helped raise over $1 million for organizations such as Responder Rescue, BackStoppers, and Ranken Jordan Children's Hospital. His passion for service and community impact aligns perfectly with CNB’s mission to be a responsible and engaged community partner.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Kurt to the St. Charles Community Board,” said Eric Kappelmann, St. Charles Board Liaison. “His entrepreneurial drive and dedication to the community make him a valuable addition to our board. We look forward to the insight and energy he’ll bring as we continue to serve the St. Charles region.”
Mark Baden, Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking at CNB, added:
“Kurt’s leadership and commitment to community service are exactly what we look for in a board member. His story is one of resilience, innovation, and generosity—qualities that reflect the heart of CNB’s mission. We’re excited to have him on board.”
