Tamekia Juszczyk Joins Next Gen Board of Directors

For Tamekia, this appointment reflects both her passion for the banking industry and her commitment to helping others grow professionally. With more than 18 years of banking experience, she has built her career around helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve important financial milestones while fostering strong relationships and continuous growth.

 

A graduate of MBA's Banking Leadership Missouri program and a longtime participant in NextGen, Tamekia credits the organization with helping shape her leadership journey and expanding her perspective as a banking leader."The conference pushes me to think more strategically and beyond my day-to-day responsibilities," she said. "It exposed me to new ideas, emerging trends, and different approaches to leadership that I may not have encountered otherwise."

As she begins her term as Chair, Tamekia hopes to inspire and empower the next generation of banking professionals to embrace opportunities for leadership, advocacy, and professional development. "It is truly an honor to serve as your NextGen Chair," said Juszczyk. "The NextGen group is about connection, collaboration, and leadership development. It's about building relationships that will span careers, sharing ideas that challenge the status quo, and learning from one another as we navigate an evolving financial landscape." She encourages emerging bankers to take advantage of opportunities such as the Next Generation in Banking Leadership Conference, the Advocacy Boot Camp, and industry advocacy efforts throughout Missouri.

Since joining CNB St. Louis Bank in 2019, Tamekia has been a driving force behind the Bank's retail banking operations. As Vice President of Retail Banking, she oversees retail operations across six branch locations, as well as the Contact Center and Retail Training departments. Her leadership has helped create a consistent, customer-focused experience throughout the communities CNB serves.
